On November 1, the whole procedures of completion and acceptance of the Three Gorges Project were completed. According to the acceptance conclusion, the Three Gorges Project has been fully completed with generally excellent quality, meeting relevant regulations, specifications and design requirements. At 19:00 p.m., the in-front-of water level of the Three Gorges dam was lowered to 144.98m, which reached the flood control level days in advance. On September 25, 2020, global depository receipts (GDRs) under the Shanghai-London Stock Connect mechanism were issued. Then, on September 30, the company completed the issuance and listing of GDRs. A total of about 76 million GDRs were issued on London Stock Exchange with an additional issuance of 760 million A-shares as underlying securities, raising a total amount of USD 2.011 billion.

On November 1, the whole procedures of completion and acceptance of the Three Gorges Project were completed. According to the acceptance conclusion, the Three Gorges Project has been fully completed with generally excellent quality, meeting relevant regulations, specifications and design requirements. At 19:00 p.m., the in-front-of water level of the Three Gorges dam was lowered to 144.98m, which reached the flood control level days in advance. So far, the Three Gorges Reservoir has successfully completed the drawdown tasks before the flood season in 2019, freeing up a flood control capacity of 22.15 billion cubic meters.
